Hyderabad: KLH Bachupally Campus emerged as a vibrant hub of ideas, innovation, and forward-looking dialogue with the successful hosting of Technology Conclave 2026, organised in collaboration with Rotary – Empowering Youth Initiative. Anchored on the theme “Empowering Youth through Technology, Innovation & Sustainability,” the conclave brought together thought leaders, domain experts, academicians, and students for an enriching exchange of ideas aimed at shaping a sustainable and technology-driven future.

The conclave served as a dynamic knowledge platform, fostering cross-sectoral discussions spanning agriculture, automation, renewable energy, sustainability, e-mobility, and emerging digital technologies. With an emphasis on real-world applications and future-readiness, the event underscored the critical role of youth as change-makers in addressing global challenges through innovation and responsible technology adoption.

A distinguished panel of speakers from diverse fields shared their expertise and practical insights, offering participants a holistic understanding of how technology is reshaping industries. Dr. Shyam Sunder Reddy, Agricultural Scientist, spoke extensively on the evolution of precision farming, highlighting how data-driven solutions, soil health analytics, and climate-responsive practices are improving productivity while conserving resources. Complementing this perspective, Mr. Naveen Kumar, Agri-Tech Specialist, shed light on IoT-enabled smart agriculture, explaining how sensor-based monitoring and automation are enabling sustainable farming practices and reducing operational inefficiencies.

Entrepreneurship and automation in agriculture were key themes during the session led by Rtn. P. Chandan Kumar, an expert in agro-automation. He emphasized the growing opportunities for startups and innovators in agri-technology, encouraging students to explore problem-solving ventures that combine technology with grassroots agricultural needs. Adding to this discussion, Mr. Sushanth, Agri-Robotics Specialist, highlighted the transformative role of robotics design and farm automation, illustrating how robotic systems can address labor shortages, enhance precision, and modernize traditional farming practices.

Sustainability and clean energy took center stage in another series of sessions, reflecting the conclave’s strong emphasis on environmental responsibility. Lt. Col. Bala Krishnan, Green Energy Specialist, discussed the expanding scope of renewable energy solutions and the importance of integrating clean energy technologies into mainstream infrastructure. Mr. Harshavardhan Erra, Environmental Compliance Specialist, provided valuable insights into waste management systems, environmental forensics, and regulatory compliance, stressing the need for sustainable industrial practices.

The future of mobility and sustainability leadership was explored by Rtn. Devender Reddy, E-Mobility Specialist, who spoke on the rapid growth of electric mobility and the leadership opportunities it presents for young professionals committed to reducing carbon footprints. Rtn. Padmaja, Sustainability Expert, further enriched the dialogue by addressing ESG frameworks, circular economy models, and sustainable business practices, highlighting how these concepts are shaping future industries and investment decisions.

The conclave also showcased compelling perspectives from the digital and emerging technology landscape. Dr. L. Koteswara Rao, Principal and Professor, Department of ECE, delivered an insightful session covering computer vision, Internet of Things (IoT), IT and SAP leadership, and talent development. His address emphasized the convergence of advanced technologies and the importance of nurturing skilled talent capable of driving innovation in a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.

Adding to this discourse, Rtn. Pravinder Rao highlighted SAP leadership and strategic talent development, focusing on how enterprises can align technology adoption with human capital growth. Dr. Muniraju Naidu further reinforced the theme of technological convergence through his discussion on IoT, sensor networks, wireless communication, and intelligent computing, underscoring their collective role in powering smart systems and data-driven decision-making.

Addressing the gathering, Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice President, KL Deemed to be University, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to holistic education and innovation-driven learning. “Technology Conclave 2026 reflects our dedication to nurturing future-ready professionals by exposing young minds to emerging technologies, innovation-led thinking, and sustainability-focused solutions. Platforms like these inspire students to transform knowledge into purposeful action and contribute meaningfully to societal progress,” he said.

Organised under the leadership of Principal Dr. L. Koteshwarao, with strong support from the convenor and faculty members, the conclave witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who actively engaged in discussions, Q&A sessions, and knowledge-sharing interactions. The event not only enhanced industry-academia collaboration but also reinforced KLH Bachupally Campus’s position as a catalyst for innovation-driven, industry-aligned, and socially responsible education.

With its successful execution, Technology Conclave 2026 stood as a testament to KLH Bachupally Campus’s vision of empowering youth through technology and sustainability, paving the way for informed leadership and impactful innovation in the years to come.
