  • Shantanu Maheshwari, Avneet Kaur starrer Love in Vietnam set for major South Korea Theatrical Release, another groundbreaking deal after massive China distribution deal
  • Coming Soon to Theatres Across South Korea this November 2025

The Indian romantic, musical saga Love In Vietnam is not only opening new doors for Indian movies but also setting new trends in international distribution for Bollywood movies. After securing a landmark distribution deal in China, where it is set to release on over 10,000 screens, Love in Vietnam, the first-ever India–Vietnam cinematic collaboration is now gearing up for a mega theatrical release in South Korea this November 2025, distributed by South Korean powerhouse Dreamfact Entertainment. The film brings together some of the popular veteran actors like Farida Jalal, Raj Babbar, Gulshan Grover and also boasts a fresh casting of Shantanu Maheshwari & Avneet Kaur. The film also stars Vietnamese actress Kha Ngan and this is the first of a kind between India and Vietnam.

Love in Vietnam is a Story That Transcends Borders, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Rahhat Shah, the film is a sweeping Indo-Vietnamese romantic drama set against the breathtaking landscapes of Vietnam. with a tender story of love, sacrifice and human connection that transcends cultural boundaries.

Director Rahhat Shah Kazmi says, “Love in Vietnam” was born out of a love for storytelling and a belief in the power of cinema to unite cultures. It’s been an incredibly personal journey, and to witness the warmth with which audiences are embracing the film is truly humbling.” Kritika Rampal who adapted the story from bestseller ‘Madonna In A fur coat’ adds- Love In Vietnam is a love letter to cinema, and our effort to explore our eastern culture and bring the culture together, was the idea.”

Since its global release on September 12, 2025, Love in Vietnam has received rave reviews and overwhelming audience appreciation across India and the West. The film has a soulful soundtrack rooted in Bollywood’s Musical Legacy. No Bollywood story is complete without music that touches the heart.

The soul-stirring soundtrack of Love in Vietnam features chart-topping Indian artists including Armaan Malik, Amaal Mallik, Jubin Nautiyal, Meet Brothers, Malkit Singh, Varun Jain, Harshdeep Kaur, and Raghav Chaitanya delivering a musical experience that beautifully enhances the emotional tapestry of this cross-border love story. “Producing this film has gone beyond filmmaking it’s about building a cultural bridge between vibrant civilizations,” says producer Captain Rahul Bali, who brought the idea of Vietnam and opened Vietnam chapter for this film. “This film is a testament that cinema transcends borders and the language of love is truly universal.”

Ms. Jihyon Byon, Head of Overseas Distribution at Dreamfact Entertainment, adds: “We are proud to bring Love in Vietnam to Korean audiences. This film is more than just a romantic drama it’s a cinematic celebration of connection across cultures. We believe it will resonate deeply with Korean viewers who appreciate emotional storytelling and global cinema.”

Mr. Hak Joong, CEO of Dreamfact Entertainment, shares: “Releasing Love in Vietnam in South Korea is both an honour and a statement. It marks a new chapter in Indo-Korean cinematic exchange. As the second Bollywood film to hit Korean theatres post-COVID, it holds symbolic importance showcasing how shared stories can heal, inspire, and connect diverse audiences.”

Based on the international best-seller Madonna in a Fur Coat, Love in Vietnam is produced by an extraordinary international team: Rahat Kazmi Film Studios, Innovations India, Omung Kumar/Blue Lotus Pictures, Captain Rahul Bali/Innovations India, And Productions, Zebaish Entertainment, Tariq Khan Productions, Mango Tree Entertainment, Samten Hills (Dalat) and 1-All Stars, In Association with Global Impex, Vikas Sharma, Kritika Rampal/Alphaa Productions and Devansh Bhardwaj.

Jatin Tomar, Co-CEO of Dreamfact Entertainment (Overseas), a young and visionary entrepreneur from India, is spearheading a cultural initiative to strengthen ties between India and Korea through cinema. His creative vision not only celebrates shared storytelling but also promises to boost business collaborations and tourism between the two nations. This first-ever collaboration, “Love in Vietnam,” premiering in Korea, is set to open new doors for cultural exchange, creative partnerships, and economic opportunities. “Cinema is a universal language that brings people closer,” says Tomar. “Through this initiative, I hope to foster lasting cultural and economic bonds between India and Korea.

The project is supported by the Embassies of India and Vietnam, Vietnam Film Development Association (VFDA), Vietnam Airlines, Vietravel, Furama Resorts, Sun Group, and a cross-cultural artistic team representing both nations. Love in Vietnam is not just a film it’s a movement. A heartfelt reminder that love knows no boundaries, and that cinema remains one of the most powerful tools for cultural connection and diplomacy in the modern world.

Dreamfact Entertainment, (a pioneer in film production and distribution of Korean and International films), Loved the film and their team quickly acquired the film for Korean market. This is one of the rare deal for Indian films. This milestone marks Love in Vietnam as only the second Bollywood film to release in South Korean theatres in the post-COVID era, following Kill (2024). Prior to the pandemic, only a handful of Bollywood films graced Korean cinemas—Black (2005), My Name is Khan (2010), 3 Idiots (2011), and English Vinglish (2014)—making this release a major achievement in India–Korea cinematic relations.

Love in Vietnam is a heart wrenching musical love story directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi, Presented by Zee Studios and Produced by Captain Rahul Bali, Blue Lotus Pictures, Innovations India, Rahat Kazmi Film Studios, And Productions, Zebaish Entertainment, Tariq Khan Productions, Global Impex, Mango Tree Entertainment and Samten Hills, Dalat. The movie hit theatres on 12th September 2025.
