Why Does a WhatsApp Account Get Banned?
WhatsApp strictly prohibits certain activities that can lead to an account ban. These include:
- Using third-party apps like GB WhatsApp or WhatsApp Plus.
- Sending spam or bulk messages.
- Adding users to groups without their consent.
- Forwarding the same message repeatedly.
- Spreading false information.
Accounts involved in such activities are flagged and banned by WhatsApp’s security system.
How to Recover a Banned WhatsApp Account?
If you believe your account was banned by mistake, you can request WhatsApp to review it:
- Open WhatsApp – a “Account Ban” notification will appear.
- Tap on “Request a Review”.
- Enter your 6-digit verification code.
- Submit the request and explain your case clearly.
- If you can’t request from the app, send an email to support@whatsapp.com with your mobile number and details of the issue.
WhatsApp will review your appeal, and if any error is found, your account may be restored.
